Ex-player vows to prove Man United wrong

Former Manchester United star Adnan Januzaj has admitted that he is keen to prove his former club wrong following his move to Spanish side Real Sociedad.

The Red Devils agreed to sell winger Adnan Januzaj to Real Sociedad for £9.8 million last month ending his six year stay at United. The Belgian international has signed a five-year deal with the San Sebastian outfit, although the Red Devils have inserted a buy-back clause in the deal should the 22-year-old recapture anything close to his best form at the Anoeta.

Despite failing to make a competitive appearance for United under Jose Mourinho, Januzaj insists he holds no ill-feeling toward the Portuguese tactician but wants to prove the ‘special one’ was wrong for allowing him to leave the ‘Theatre of Dreams’.

Januzaj scored five goals and registered six assists in 63 appearances across all competitions.
