KPL striker declares club eagerness to grab title

Sofapaka striker Morven Otinya is grateful for the performance he displayed during their win against Thika United at Afraha Stadium on August 6, 2017.

Otinya provided the assist to Hillary Echesa to add a second goal for the Batoto Ba Mungu as they saw off the Nicholas Muyoti side 3-0. The former Palos striker further pointed out the the team's eagerness to win the Kenya Premier League title something they last tasted in the 2009 season.

-God is great giving us a second win in a row, and doing wonders by giving assists that helped  thrash Thika United 3-0. Team Sofapaka, Batoto ba Mungu are eager for the KPL title, the striker said on his social page.

Thika United had last loss in the league in May 2017 and they travelled to Afraha hoping to get first victory over Sofapaka since August 2014. They had beaten Sofapaka only three times in the last 15 league meetings.
