Manchester United continued with their 100% start to 2017/18 campaign as they swept away Swansea 4-0 at Liberty Stadium making it two wins in two games.

Both sides started brightly with open scoring chances in both ends, with Ayew almost putting the home team ahead in the third minute as his shot kissed the post and went wide. United responded nine minutes later as Mata’s free kick found Jones whose head came off the crossbar and Swansea cleared it. Paul Pogba was yellow carded in the 26th minute following his late tackle on Carroll.

Just before half time, United broke the deadlock through Eric Bailly. Pogba’s header from a corner was saved by Fabianski tipping the ball onto the crossbar and down onto the line and Bailly reacted quickly to capitalize on poor clearance.
