West Brom are reportedly close to signing Tottenham forward Vincent Janssen and centre-back Kevin Wimmer in a joint £30m deal.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis was speaking in a press conference following their 3-1 win over fourth-tier side Stanley in their Football League Cup second round clash, where the tactician disclosed that the was confident that the deal to acquire the two may be finalised as early as Wednesday.

Janssen has being having a difficult time finding playing time in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad under the shadow of marksman Harry Kane, whereas the recent arrival of defender Davinson Sanchez more or less guaranteed the same fate for Wimmer, making an exit the better option for the two.

Pulis is rumoured to be also eyeing to sign Bournemouth defender Marc Wilson in an attempt to build a squad which will be more of a factor in the ultra-competitive Premier League.
