NSL top striker enchanted with Harambee stars slot

Wazito FC striker Pitson Mutamba is over the moon after having been handed a call up to Harambee Stars by head coach Stanley Okumbi.

Mutamba who has had an impressive run with National Super League side is among the forwards that will be fighting for a place in the National team that is set for the Morocco trip and Mozambique trip. According to the former Kakamega High School forward, a call up to the National team is a dream come true.

-I am so humbled to have such a big chance because it is a dream come true, Mutamba told the club's official portal.

Wazito FC Administrator Bramwel Makotsi says the centre forward deserves a call up as he has been working hard for day in day out at club level.

-It was a matter of when and not if for him to get a call up. He has worked hard and he deserves it. It’s just a beginning of great things to come, Makotsi said.

Harambee Stars is currently preparing for the African Cup of Nations and African Nations Championship.
