Stars call up returns to Brighton after injury

Harambee Stars call up Jonah Ayunga has returned to EPL, Brighton Hove and Albion to start his rehabilitation after seeing his season cut short by an leg injury suffered two weeks ago.

Ayunga underwent surgery on Friday and has sinceoved back to England as confirmed by  Shane Keegan the Galway United coach via the club portal.


-While only with us for a short time, Jonah had a great impact for us. He was playing a big role in our games and he endeared himself to everyone at the club.

-Everybody at Galway United wishes him the best of luck with his rehabilitation with Brighton and who knows, we may see him in a Galway United jersey again in the future, he said.

The striker who is yet to feature for the Kenyan national outfit had  just received his second call up.
