Sofapaka has condoled their star midfielder Captain Hillary Echesa who has lost his brother Shadrack Oucho who has been battling with unnamed illness.

Echesa has been part of the cog that has propelled the Batoto Ba Mungu where they are second in the Kenya Premier League log six points below Gor Mahia. It is only Posta Rangers that held them at Narok Stadium after registering healthy wins against Nzoia Sugar ( 3-1) and Nakumatt ( 6-1).

Demise

- Sofapaka wishes to pass our heartfelt condolences to the family of our captain Hillary Fordy Echesa during this trying period following the demise of his brother Shadrack Oucho Echesa after a period of illness. May the almighty grant you comfort and courage and may the soul of the departed rest in eternal peace, the club said.

Echesa joined the 2009 champions from Chemelil Sugar and are on course to impress this season after engaging in relegation dog fight last season.
