KPL newbies credit deep-diving, toughened coach
Kariobangi Sharks has heaped praises on its head coach William Muluya who the club say it is his leadership that has seen it shine in the Kenya Premier League since promotion at the start of the season.
Sharks reserves its praises for Muluya in respect to their impressive run in the top flight. The KPL newbies further revisit their fight to earn promotion into the first tier league and reveals Muluya's hand in their eventual promotion.
No mean task
-In June 2016, we brought in a relatively 'unknown' coach into our ranks. Our target at that point in time was to earn promotion to the top tier league. A big task for the young coach, the club said.
Sharks stellar performance see them sit at the 5th position and are among the contenders for the Shield title as they are among the semi finalist alongside National Super League Vihiga United, KPL rivals AFC Leopards and Sony Sugar. Sharks will face SoNy in the semis to be held later this month.
