EAC Military Games: Ulinzi outwits Tanzania to retain title

Kenya Premier League side Ulinzi Stars retained the Eastern  African Military games title after a 1-0 win over Tanzania in a match played  on Sunday 3 September in Bujumbura.

Boniface Onyango netted the lone goal for Benjamin Nyangweso coached side in the first half and the side managed to hold on for a crucial win.

Journey to victory

Ulinzi kicked of their title defence with a 1-0 win over Burundi while their second match ended in a 1-1 to Uganda. 

The Soldiers now shift focus on the league and they will be seeking to bag maximum points in their games as they continue the push for the league title.

The Nakuru based side has amassed 32 points from the opening 20 league games.
