NSL:Vihiga, City Stars held

National Super League leaders Vihiga United were held to a 1-1 draw by Mombasa based side Modern Coast in a match played at Mbaraki Stadium on Wednesday.

Dennis Wafula put the visitors into lead at the 71st minute of the game. Modern Coast however got their equalizer just before the final whistle with Omondi Francis netting the goal from a spot kick.


At Camp Toyoyo, KCB and FC Talanta played to a 1-1 draw. Simon Abuko’s penalty kick at the 81st minute earned KCB a point from the tie. Abuko's goal canceled Tony Baraza's 78th minute goal for Talanta FC.

Another 1-1 draw was registered in Awasi where Agrochemicals and Nairobi City Stars faced off. City Stars took lead through Arthur Museve after a cross from Shikanda. Agro Chemicals however ensured that they did not lose all the points by bagging an equalizer through Brian Ochieng.
