Tusker FC defender Eugene Asike has praised the levels of competition in the team as he looks to justify his recent nods for a starting berth.

A tough call for starting berths at the Ruaraka based side and injuries have seen the centre back featuring in only few matches this term.

Asike is however keen to make his inclusion count as Brewers head to Awendo to face SoNy Sugar amid a series of injuries within its ranks.

Wont disappoint

-Its good to be in the first team and right now everyone is working hard hence high competition in the team. We just need to remain positive about it and know how to reach our target. I'm glad I was trusted in the starting role and I will not disappoint, he told the club portal.

The former Sofapaka was part of the Brewers double winning team last term.
