Sofapaka: Title race far from over

07 Sep 2017, 14:00

Sofapaka FC assistant coach John Baraza claims that the title race is still on and his side should not be written off.

Batoto Ba Mungu have a huge task of closing the gap between them and leaders Gor Mahia who have already collected 44 points and have a game in hand.

Man power

Six points separates them and Gor Mahia FC but Baraza believes they have enough man power to close the gap. He has advised the team to keep on working hard for good results.

-The race is still on and it is still early to start talking about the title. The idea is for our team to continue working hard and the desired results will come our way. Obviously, it is not easy but we have quality players capable of delivering the title for the team, Baraza told Sofapaka official site.

Sofapaka face Chemelil Sugar this weekend and they will be hoping for a positive result from the match to avoid losing foot in the title race.
