Nzoia Sugar head coach has admitted that Gor Mahia were a class above his side in the 4-0 drubbing by the league leaders in a Kenyan Premier League match played at Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Saturday 9 September.
A brace from Jacques Tuyisenge and a goal apiece from Meddie Kagere and Francis Kahata saw Nzoia suffer their heaviest defeat in the league so far this season and helped Gor Mahia maintain its position at the top of the Kenyan Premier League table.
Speaking to Futaa.com, Mwalala admitted that the league leaders were the better side pointing out Gor Mahia's thoroughness in front of goal and the quality of the side.
-Their quality and experience won them the game, they were the better side overall. They were clinical with the chances they created and deserved to win. We didn't play badly either because we had our chances including a penalty but we failed to utilize and in the end the side that was clinical won, that's football such things happen and we now have to show character by bouncing back immediately, he told Futaa.com.
Nzoia plays Bandari at home in Wednesday 13 September.
