Former Sofapaka goalkeeper passes on

Former Sofapaka  and Rwanda national team keeper Evariste Mutuyimana has passed on, his club Rayon Sports has confirmed.

Initial reports indicate that the Rayon  keeper died of heart attack at home on Tuesday 12 September morning.

-We are very sad to announce the death of our reserve goal keeper MUTUYIMANA Evariste. We stand with his family and friends, his club posted on social media.

Sofapaka 

Mutuyimana joined Sofapaka in June 2014 from Rwandan side, SC Kiyovu and featured for Batoto Ba Mungu until June 2016 when he left for Rwandan champions Rayon Sports penning a two-year deal.
