Wanyama ruled out of the Champions League opener

Tottenham Hotspur will miss the services of Victor Wanyama when the team faces Borrusia Dortmound in the champions league opener on Wednesday 13 September  night.

Wanyama is yet to recover from a knee injury and he will join Eric Lamela, Danny Rose on the list of players who are nursing injuries.

Dele Alli has also been ruled out of the tie as he is currently serving a three-match suspension in European competitions.

-Erik Lamela (hips), Danny Rose (knee), Victor Wanyama (knee)  All remain sidelined as they continue their recoveries from respective injuries. Georges-Kevin Nkoudou (foot)  Close to a return to training with the team,the club announced.

The match will kick off at 2145 hours.
