Lampard: Morata will only get better

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard reportedly believes that striker Alvaro Morata is destined for greatness at the Stamford Bridge.

The Blues all-time leading goalscorer admitted that he has been closely monitoring the Spaniard since his days at Juventus and Real Madrid, where the marksman has proven that he is the ‘complete striker’.

Lampard further added that the 24-year-old is ‘fantastic’ in his movement and technical understanding of the game, and that the goalgetter will undoubtedly thrive at the big stages that Chelsea will provide, including the Champions League.

Morata has taken to Chelsea like a fish to water ever since making his club record £58m move from the Bernabeu. The talisman has proved that the hype surrounding him is not false after scoring three goals in four matches for Antonio Conte’s side.
