Juve boss: Messi is simply unstoppable

Juventus chief Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly said that Barcelona forward Lionel Messi is ‘unstoppable’ if he is given the room to operate.

Messi was at it again as the Argentine netted a brace, which together with midfielder Ivan Rakitic’s goal, gave the Catalans an emphatic 3-0 win over the Serie A giants to propel them to the top of Group D in the current edition of the highly-rated Champions League competition.

Leo would have registered a hat-trick in the ultra-competitive fixture had his 51st-minute strike not hit the post to offer veteran Juve goalie Gianluigi Buffon some reprieve, albeit temporary.

The five-time Ballon d’Or finally managed to score past the stopper, who is arguably the only keeper to have ever frustrated the 30-year-old in his illustrious football career.
