Origi off the mark in Bundesliga

Divock Origi got his scoring account under way as Wolfsburg drew Werder Bremen 1-1 in a Bundesliga clash played on Wednesday 19 September  at the Volkswagen Arena.

 The Liverpool loanee swept home a Paul Georges-Ntep's cross to see Wolfrburg to a 28th minute lead. The strike was the striker's eight shot on goal since arriving from the Merseyside.

Share of spoils

Bremen's Fin Bartles got the visitors back in the tie with a 56th minute goal to see the team to share of spoils. Wolfsburg remain 12 on the log with five points from as many games.

 The clash was the first for the 2009 champions who parted ways with coach Adreies Jonker after Bundesliga Matchday 4 defeat to Stuttgart.
