Injury update: Pochettino confirms Wanyama's return date

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Victor Wanyama is expected to return to action after international break.

The Kenyan midfielder has not featured since the defeat to Chelsea on August 20 after sustaining a knee injury in training. Despite Spurs missing the services of the midfielder, they are yet to lose a game. The north London club will take on West Ham United in an early kick-off game on Saturday and Poch has no fresh injury concerns as Erik Lamela and Danny Rose continue their progress, although no date has been set for their return.

Boost for Spurs

Ben Davies is set to return as he missed the draw with Swansea City and the win over Barnsley in the League during midweek after receiving a knock on his ankle against Borussia Dortmund. Harry Winks is back in contention after coming through the victory over the South Yorkshire side on Wednesday unscathed.

The 21-year-old had been out of action since April after suffering an ankle ligament injury following a freak fall in a match against Burnley.
