Olunga in search for maiden start as Girona face Barca in Catalan derby

Michael Olunga could be in for his first start as Girona FC hopes to find their foot back on La Liga with Saturday tricky tie against  Barcelona in the Catalan derby at home starting 2145 hours.

After back to back defeats against Atleti and Sevilla, Pablo Machin's team finally collected their first point in three games after Wedneaday stalemate against fellow newcomers Leganes FC.

The tie saw Nigerian international Larky Kayode partner Cristian Stuani in attack as as Michael Olunga remained unused sub in yet another clash.

The Kenyan has so far only clocked a substitute appearance against Sevilla under his belt. He will be fancying his chance for a rare start if the tactician opts for a more re-jig of his offensive line.

The league newcomers have failed to score in their previous three games ahead of the encounter at Montilivi against Barcelona.
