Omboko handed rare start as Zoo parade team to play Nzoia Sugar

Zoo FC head coach Sammy Okoth has named his 18-man team that will take on  Nzoia Sugar FC in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match on Wednesday 11 October at Kericho Green Stadium.

With first choice keeper Vincent Misikhu suspended, veteran keeper Richard Omboko has been handed a start between the posts, he will be shielded by Gideon Kibet, Dominic Ouma, Johnstone Ligare and Isaac Kipyegon. Dennnis Otieno, Geoffrey Gichana, Michael Madoya and Danson Namasaka all line-up at the middle of the park while the pair of Bernard Odhiambo and Nicholas Kipkirui will lead the attack.

First leg 

The two former National Super League  rivals meet once again after playing to a one all draw in the first leg; Lawrence Juma's strike was cancelled by Mike Madoya to ensure that spoils were shared at Sudi Stadium in April. The draw helped Zoo gain its first ever top flight football point.

The match will kick off at 1500 hrs.
