Tusker FC head coach George Nsimbe has admitted that he is not sure at to whether he will be in charge of the Brewers after a disastrous 2017 from the reigning Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions.

Nsimbe replaced countryman, Paul Nkata at the start and had a difficult start losing 5-2 to newbies Nzoia Sugar in his first league match. They managed to recover from the slow start before slumping again and currently occupy the 7th position in the log with 40 points.

There has bee a lot of speculation surrounding his future and that of his assistant Francis Baraza at the club with sources indicating that the Brewers are set to enforce some changes in the bench once the current season comes to a close as they look to better their tidings in 2018.

Speaking after his side's barren draw against Kariobangi Sharks on Wednesday 11 October at Ruaraka Grounds, the former KCCA coach said he is unsure of his future at the club. He however targets a top three finish with seven matches left before the season comes to a close.

-As for whether I will stay at Tusker if I don’t win a silverware is something I will leave to God because we can never predict what will happen, but we know that with a little confidence this boys can do better. With seven matches remaining, our target is to finish in the top three, he said.

Next for the Brewers is Muhoroni Youth on Sunday 15 October.
