AFC Leopards veteran midfielder Nicholas Muyoti has applauded the new signings and he’s optimistic of winning the KPL 2012 title.

Leopards has so far signed three players led by Victor Ochieng’, Abbas Kiwaalabye and Amon Muchiri from Chemelil Sugar FC and Karuturi Sports respectively.

Speaking to futaa.com Muyoti said that he’s confident with the crop of players currently at the den,  and that the new signings will be very instrumental in the next year’s title campaign as they have enhanced competition in the team.

-I can say those were great signings for AFC and as a senior player I humbly welcome them at the den. Their arrival has actually motivated all of us and as I look forward for 2012, I know the competition for starting XI is going to be very stiff, said Muyoti.

-They are very promising and I have a lot of trust in them, concluded the experienced midfielder.

The 12 times KPL champions will resume their training on January 5 2012 after breaking camp on winning Kibunja Peace Mission Cup against bitter rivals Gor Mahia FC on Saturday 17 December.
