Ushuru thrash Bankers in crucial promotion duel

Ken Kenyatta and Ushuru FC have taken a significant step in their quest for KPL return after white washing KCB 4-1 this Saturday 22 October at Camp Toyoyo.

Goals from Nelson Marosowe, Benson Amianda and Bill Oporia saw Taxmen claim the massive win in the final half of the clash.

The promotion six pointer kicked off on a cagey note with both sides  opting for a reserved approach.

Ben Amianda finally broke the dead lock five minutes after the break and the Ex Talanta man soon made it an tall order for KCB when he struck his second heading ro the hour mark.

Marosowe then added up the haul before Substitute Bill Oporia ended any chance of the tie being a contest for the visitors..

A late goal from Kevin Migele only counted for consolation for the Bankers who saw their stay at top come to an end.

Ushuru now lead the standings with two point gap over KCB.
