Tusker FC eyeing Nzoia Sugar pass-master
2016 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Tusker FC are reportedly targeting Nzoia Sugar in-form midfielder Lawrence Juma once the December-January transfer window swings open in three-weeks time.
The attacking midfielder has been in fine form for the Millers this term finding the back of the net seven times and creating 10 other goals for his teammates. His splendid form with the Bungoma based Kenyan Premier League (KPL) outfit has attracted interest from a number of clubs with AFC Leopards and Posta Rangers said to be considering swoops for the former Nakuru AllStars man.
According to a source from the Brewers, the Ruaraka based side will go all out to sign the midfielder as part of their rebuilding process after a disastrous 2017 season. A clear-out is expected at the club and Lawi as he's famously known could be one of the new faces that will land at Ruaraka.
- He's a player we are interested in but we cannot talk much about him right now because he's contracted to Nzoia Sugar. Once the season comes to an end we will be able to talk about him and our other targets but I can confirm he's one of our top targets. He's a top midfielder, his record at Nzoia Sugar speaks for itself, we will see what happens at the end of the season, a source told Futaa.com.
The midfielder was an AFC Leopards target early this year but he opted to remain at the Sugar belt side.
