Breaking news: West Ham appoints new manager

07 Nov 2017, 11:39

West Ham has announced David Moyes as their new manager on a six-month contract.

The former Sunderland and Manchester United manager is expected to take training this morning.

The club has not officially announced the length of his contract, however, it’s understood to run until the end of the current campaign. It represents a swift change of manager at the London Stadium, with Bilic fired yesterday after a difficult start to the season.

The club is currently in the relegation zone after just two wins so far this season, and Moyes’ first match in charge will be away against Watford after the international break.
