Origi backed to hit double figure in Bundesliga

Wolfsburg coach Martin Schmidt has backed Belgium ace Divock Origi to score more than ten goals if the youngster continues in his hot streak with the Volkswagen Arena club.

A fine start to the season has seen the Liverpool loanee score four goal in opening nine games and having hit the new heights after October's international break, coach Schmidt is confident that a more prolific spell is ahead of the prodigy.

-Divock is showing he's already at home in the Bundesliga, coach Martin Schmidt said after the player's goal and assist role in their last game.

-He's set a benchmark with his goals so far, and if he keeps it up he can reach 10 or 12, he added.

The streak has seen Origi pass Daniel Didavi as the club's best scorer after 11 fixtures.
