Liverpool send physio with Mane on International duty

Liverpool has reportedly sent one of their own physios to accompany Sadio Mane for Senegal’s World Cup qualifiers against South Africa.

The Telegraph claims Jurgen Klopp is taking no chances after spending big chunks of this season without his key winger.

Mane finally returned from a lengthy injury lay-off last weekend and was in top form as Liverpool routed West Ham 4-1.

But with Senegal now set to play for their spot at next year’s World Cup, there are said to be fear that Mane could break down yet again.

Klopp is unable to stop the player from representing his country at their time of need.

So the German has seemingly taken drastic measures to make sure Mane returns to Anfield without any further setbacks, with physio Scott McAuley also travelling to Africa this week.
