Injury news: Chelsea dealt blow

Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has reportedly sustained a foot injury while on international duty.

Belgium head coach Roberto Martinez confirmed the unfortunate news in a press conference on Thursday, where the tactician disclosed that - When Michy arrived he was in pain. He has not trained since the squad met. He is out both games and has already returned to Chelsea.

Batshuayi has been an integral part of boss Antonio Conte’s squad, where the 24-year-old has constantly proved to be a good back-up to marksman Alvaro Morata and ex-striker Diego Costa during their current and previous campaigns.

The linchpin has made 12 appearances in all competitions for the defending Premier League champions this season, scoring seven goals in the process.
