SoNy Sugar head coach Salim Babu has blamed the heavy downpour witnessed in Awendo during his side's clash against Nakumatt on Saturday 11 November for the 0-1 loss to the visitors

A Kepha Aswani strike just before the breather helped Anthony Mwangi's charges pick maximum points from the clash and in his post-match interview, Babu said the heavy rains affected his team's strategy. He also faulted the officiating saying a number of key calls went against his side.

Heavy rains

-The rains affected our game plan because the pitch became soaked and unplayable, it made us struggle a lot. The officiating too wasn't very good, some key calls went against us in the game and in the end, we lost. We now have to prepare better for our next game, he said.

SoNy face Muhoroni Youth next at home.
