Real Madrid has reportedly joined the race to sign Lyon midfielder/forward Nabil Fekir.

Spanish outlet SFR Sport have claimed that Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has been closely monitoring the Frenchman for some time and is planning to make a move for the midfield maestro in the not-so-distant future.

Fekir burst into the limelight this season for having a spectacular outing with the Ligue 1 up-and-comers, which has seen the 24-year-old score 11 goals and assisted another four in only 11 league appearances this season.

The Linchpin has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal as a possible replacement for wantaway marksman Alexis Sanchez, with Barcelona and Serie A giants Juventus also showing interest in the acquiring the talisman.
