AFC Leopards midfielder looking forward to partner with Ex-Manchester UTD duo in new club
In just a matter of days, former Vipers Sports Club and Uganda Cranes midfielder, Keziron Kizito, will be rubbing shoulders with former Bayer Leverkusen, Monaco and Manchester United forward, Dimitar Berbatov in the same dressing room.
This is if he completes his impending move to Indian Super League giants Kerala Blasters.
Kizito successfully completed a two week trial period with the South India based club while on their pre-season tour in Spain.
"I trained with the team while they were on a pre-season tour in Spain. It wasn't trials (as reported)," Kizito told Futaa in an interview. “I was part of the team in their preseason tour from September 30th in Spain and we agreed to the terms. I will be leaving soon.” Dream on course
“My dream is to play in one of the big leagues and I believe this one is a step in the right direction.”
Keziron believes that the kind of quality in Kerala’s squad and the league, in general, will help develop his career.
“It means a lot to play alongside big players like [Dimitar] Berbatov and [Wes] Brown as well as the great coaches at the club. I want to win trophies and move to even bigger leagues.”
