Double injury boost for Barca
Barcelona has received a huge injury boost ahead of their weekend clash with star Luis Suarez and forgotten playmaker Arda Turan ready to face Leganes on Saturday.
The duo resumed full training completing the last two training sessions with the rest of their available teammates. Suarez has been playing with a niggle in his knee since suffering an injury earlier in the season during the Catalans' 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup on 16 August. The former Liverpool star looks set to start on the Madrid-based side with Barcelona confirming that he has been able to train with the rest of his teammates both on Monday evening and on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, Turan has been on the sidelines since suffering an ankle injury during the preparations for the Copa del Rey trip to Murcia on 24 October. The 30-year-old has missed three games against Athletic Club, Olympiakos and Sevilla but could also be available to face Leganes if called upon by Valverde. Turan is yet to play a single minute in the opening part of the season after Barcelona unsuccessfully tried to get rid of with him during the summer transfer window.
Barca boss Valverde may give him a chance to make the squad against Leganes as Sergi Roberto, Andres Gomes, and long-term injury duo Dembele and Alcantara will be unavailable due to varying fitness issues.
