AFC Leopards assistant coach Tom 'Gazza' Juma has been dismised by the club six months after joining the club he featured for during his playing days.

The former Muhoroni Youth coach has been Robert Matano's assistant and played part in the 2017 Gotv Shield triumph. He has however been axed by the club ahead of 2018 campaign for reportedly falling out with coach Matano as revealed by a source from the den.

-Gazza has left after he had a misunderstanding with the head coach and the club management decided to dismiss him, the source confided in Futaa.com.

Not aware

When reached for a comment Gazza refuted the claims saying he has not been served with any termination letter.

-No one has told me that I am no longer part of the bench. I have been away on holiday and as we speak I am traveling back to Nairobi, he said.

Mutual agreement

Club Chairman Dan Mule says the two parties parted ways on mutual agreement.

-We sat down and agreed that it was best to end our association. Juma is aware that he's no longer part of the team, he said.
