KCB appoints new coach

National Super League side, KCB has appointed immediate former FC Talanta coach John Kamau as a new coach, Kamau replaces Leonard Saleh who has since been dismissed by the club.

Saleh's tenure at the club came to an end when he failed to lead the Bankers back to the Kenyan Premier League in 2017, KCB slipped in the closing stages of 2017 campaign and ended up finishing fourth in the log.

Kamau has now been poached from Talanta and will be tasked with leading the Bankers back to the Kenyan Premier League. The side was relegated to the NSL at the close of 2015 season after finishing 15th in the log.

New coach 

-Kamau is the new KCB coach. The club management feels he is the right man to lead the club back to the top tier. He will be given all the necessary support to for him to achieve the set targets, a source from the Bankers camp told Futaa.com.

Kamau has previously been in charge of Kenyan Premier League sides Thika United and Posta Rangers. He has also coached Kenya U17 and U20 national teams. He is the current Harambee Stars second assistant coach.
