AFC Leopards is closing in on former Kakamega High School midfielder Marvin Omondi who has been training with the side for a couple of weeks.

The attacking midfielder was part of Green Commandos team that earned promotion to the National Super League in 2017 and also finished third during the national school games.

Omondi is said to have impressed Leopards coach Robert Matano and is expected to sign for the 2017 Gotv Shield champions.

Evaluation

-The coach is still looking at him once he gives us an okay to sign him, we will do the necessary, Leopards chairman told Futaa.com when contacted.

Should he sign for Ingwe, Omondi will link up with his immediate former Commandos teammate Yusuf Mainge who joined Ingwe in December.
