Trialists feature as Nakumatt is held in friendly

Kenyan Premier League side Nakumatt FC was held to a barren draw by a youthful Makadara Youth FC in a friendly match staged at Camp Toyoyo Grounds on Wednesday 10 January.

The Anthony Mwangi coached side is recruiting massively after losing most of its star players after the close of 2017 Kenyan Premier League campaign. A number of players from KPL and NSL clubs showed up for the trials and featured in the friendly match against the minnows.


Among those expecting to earn a move to Nakumatt include immediate former Mathare United forward Brian Nyakan, former Ushuru FC midfielder Moses Odhiambo, ex-Posta defender Rodgers Omondi, Chemelil Sugar defender Amani Kyata and former Gor Mahia defender Solomon Nasio.

Others include former Agro midfielder Tom Adwar, former Nakumatt forward Cornelius Juma, Patrick Kagogo, Wycliffe Nyangechi, Timonnah Wanyonyi, Gradus Ochieng.
