Burundian Sofapaka catch warns strikers

New Sofapaka defender Moussa Omar has made his Kenya Premier League first target known after joining the club from his native country, Burundi.

Omar admits that it has been a long-awaited dream to join the Batoto Ba Mungu where his fellow Burundians Fistone Razak, Fuadi Ndayisenga and Steve Niziyagambo did well. And he is looking forward to emulating them.

- I used to hear of the players’ exploits with Sofapaka when I was a little bit younger and I was determined to follow in their footsteps. As fate would have it, I’m now at Sofapaka and all I want is to make the club better than I found it, Omar told the club portal.

The star who performed rather well with his national team in the CECAFA Senior Challenge has a warning for the KPL strikers.

 - From what I have seen, Sofapaka’s defence is strong but we can make it, even more, stronger to make life difficult for opposing strikers, he added.
