KPL awards: Zoo midfielder named player of the year

Zoo FC midfielder Michael Madoya has been named 2017 Kenyan Premier League Most Valuable Player (MVP) at an awards ceremony held on Friday 15 December in Nairobi.

The diminutive midfielder saw off competition from Gor Mahia's Meddie Kagere, Posta's Patrick Matasi, Nzoia's Lawrence Juma and Kariobangi Sharks' Masoud Juma to bag the award
