Mathare United demolish Hotspurs in friendly

Edward Seda and Ahmed Ahmad found the back of the net twice each as Mathare United dispatched Dandora Hotspurs 6-0 in a friendly match played at their Goan Institute training ground on Saturday 13 January. 

After narrowly avoiding the drop in 2017, the Slum Boys are preparing for a better 2018 season by featuring in a series of friendly matches.

Crispin Oduor and Johnstone Omurwa scored the other goals for the Francis Kimanzi coached side. 

Mathare has signed several players in readiness for 2018 campaign. Francis Omondi, Job Ochieng, Clifford Alwanga and Klinsman Omulanga are some of the players roped in by Kimanzi.
