Michael Olunga came off the bench to score a hattrick as Girona thrashed Las Palmas 6-0 in a Spanish La Liga match played on Saturday 13 January

Olunga who was yet to score a league goal for his new side replaced injured Christian Stuani at halftime. His introduction turned out to be a masterstroke as he scored three and set up one as Girona put the visitors to the sword.

Stuani opened the scoring in the 26th minute from the penalty spot after Christian Portu was brought down in the penalty area. The hosts took a 1-0 lead to the break.
