KPL side lines up four weekend friendlies
New Kenya Premier League side Vihiga United has travelled to Nakuru where it is expected to play a number of friendlies as season's build up.
Among the teams the Edward Manoah side is expected to tackle are former rivals in the National Super League St. Joseph and Nakuru All-stars. Division One side Geothermal FC and Olympic FC will also be part of Vihiga's pre-season opponents before they head back home on Monday.
The club is also expected to have a ceremony to unveil new players, technical bench and new kit at Kidundu Stadium starting at noon.
Last year, the outfit released a record 12 players from its ranks and it is expected that it has made the required replacements given the maiden KPL duties ahead.

Vihiga joined the first tier after a gruelling campaign that saw it eventually finish on top of the NSL table.
The club has also advertised their vacant coaching position after Edward Manoah left the club last year.
