Kigonya glad at Sofapaka growth
After a bad start to the season Sofapaka, have now picked six points from their last two matches and skipper Mathias Kigonya, is confident they have settled well and ready to tackle their opponents.
Kigonya has been between the sticks in all of Sofapaka’s matches this season and has scored a goal. He says teamwork has been their driving force and calls on his mates to keep the standards.
A positive from the clash, Kigonya says was picking three points and showing good coordination, which he notes will continue growing with more matches together.
“Every player that was fielded played their part and gave their best from the start to the end. We have started gelling and I know with more games we will get even stronger and have better coordination,” he said.
Sofapaka have managed nine points from their opening five matches.
