AFCON 2019Q: Algeria, DRC to test Tanzania ahead of Uganda clash
The Tanzania Football Federation has organized two international build up games for the nation’s team to be played in March in Algiers and Dar Es Salaam.
The federation has prepared the two games as part of the preparations ahead of the highly-anticipated 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda Cranes in September.
First test will be against the North Africans on March 22nd in Algeria and the second with DR Congo in Dar Es Salaam five days later.
The Taifa Stars, as they’re commonly known, are third in Group L with a point collected from their 1-1 draw with Lesotho on Day one.
Uganda lead the table with three, Lesotho are second with one and Cape Verde fourth with no point.
