Kanu praises Mwendwa after debut

Kariobangi Sharks Head Coach William Muluya, has praised winger Harrison Mwendwa after making his debut in a 4-1 win over Wazito over the weekend.

Mwendwa, who joined Sharks from Mathare United in January made the cut in Muluya’s starting lineup on the day, before coming off in the second half.

“I will say he tried, he did his best because it’s not easy for someone to come in a new club and catch up.

“My philosophy is whoever gives his best in training before matches gets the nod.”

Hat Trick

Sharks walloped debutantes Wazito thanks to Eric Kapaito hat-trick, with Duke Abuya adding the other.
