Mathare raids Bankers in preps for Ingwe showdown

Second placed Kenya Premier League side Mathare United were 4-2 winner over NSL side KCB in a build clash staged this Thursday 8th March at Camp Toyoyo.

Mathare is due to face AFC Leopards on a league tie this Saturday and Francis Kimanzi's charges got off to a proper prep for the test thanks to a stylish brace from substitute Elijah Mwanzia.

Mwanzia, Keli hit brace

The striker's brace from the bench put to shade a similar feat from KCB returnee, Jacob Keli.

Andrew Juma and Ahmad Ahmed provided other goals for United.

Mathare remain unbeaten in the league heading to the Week 6 clash in Machakos.
