Juma: We defended poorly
For the fourth time in the current season, Kakamega Homeboyz conceded from a set piece, when the team lost 0 – 1 to Ulinzi Stars and goalkeeper and skipper David Juma, was disappointed at the manner in which they conceded.
The keeper admits their defending was poor as Masita Masuta rose to head home Oliver Ruto’s corner kick, in the 88th minute to hand Homeboyz their third loss of the season and second consecutive, after the 1 – 3 fall to Nzoia Sugar in their previous match.
“We let ourselves down once again with conceding that goal. Set pieces have been our biggest nightmare this season so far and we have to work on that and improve. We defended poorly and allowed them a late win,” he said.
Next up for Kakamega Homeboyz will be a game against AFC Leopards who have now won two in a row and Juma will be hoping for a return to winning ways.
