William Wadri bagged his first brace of the season as Bandari conjured a convincing 3-0 win against SoNy Sugar at Mbaraki stadium.

The match kicked off at 3pm with Bandari on the front foot. It took Wadri just nine minutes to compose himself and net the first goal. Wadri scored the first goal after a brilliant cross from Joshua Oyoo.  Frustration for SoNy kicked in early and in the 11th minute, Clinton Omollo was cautioned for fouling Hassan Abdalla.

SoNy was awarded a free kick in the 16th minute which was taken by Tyrone Sisia but it was saved by Farouk.

Diving is a crime in football but is something players still struggle with. Hassan Abdalla was booked for diving and apparent simulation on the edge of the box. The game was now alive.

As the pressure grew, William Wadrid and Pamba collided and the game had to be stopped for the two to get treatment.

The first corner was taken in the 34th minute by Tyrone Sisia and Farouk soared high to get the ball. The second booking of the game went to Mwana Yema for fouling Farouk. The two sides went into the break with the hosts leading by just one goal.
