Mwalala praises Odhiambo for match winning exploits against Rangers
Nzoia Sugar secured their second successive away victory with a 2-1 win over Posta Rangers, in a league game played on Sunday 13 May and coach Bernard Mwalala, has praised goal scorer David Odhiambo who grabbed a brace in the clash played at the Camp Toyoyo.
The visitors Stormed to a 2-0 lead inside the first five minutes courtesy of a lively Odhiambo, who interchanged superbly with his other strike partners in the opening minutes of the game, to punish a lacklustre Rangers side that was badly in need of Jockins Atudo's influence at the back.
It has been a difficult start to the season for Odhiambo who has been overshadowed by club mate and league top scorer Elvis Rupia, who has 11 strikes this far but the left footed forward has kept his cool and has attracted the praises of his manager.
"It is a big thing that he scored in our last match, especially getting two goals is a big positive," Mwalala said.
"I congratulate him for his dedication throughout and the two goals will definatley boost his confidence going forward."
