Odhiambo steps into the weekend with caution

Ulinzi Stars goalkeeper Jacktone Odhiambo has called for caution when the team takes on Wazito FC in their Saturday 19th May Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash.

The team has been on the up lately, with three straight wins and unbeaten in their last five matches. They head to the game after an impressive 2 – 0 win over Nzoia Sugar and had an inactive weekend following the postponement of their game against Gor Mahia.

Odhiambo believes with good concentration, they can overcome Wazito FC, who have registered a few shock results in the season, beating Sofapaka and Mathare United, though they head to the match straight from two losses.

Experienced Players

“So far we have trained well and we hope to be in the best state of mind and fitness for this game because here we will be facing a good side with very experienced players. They are coming from a loss and facing such a team is tough because they want to get back to winning ways.

“Like all other games in the league, we want to approach this one with the seriousness it deserves and I believe we have the right players to cope with the threat that Wazito come with,” he told the club’s website.
